Shipping Information

International Shipping Destinations

Cape Cobra Leathercraft offers global shipping for our ostrich leather products. Please note that due to international trade regulations:

  • Crocodile leather products may only be shipped within South Africa or to the United States.
  • We ship on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. This means:
    • Customers are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, or local sales taxes applicable in their country.
  •   For first-time international orders, we will request written confirmation of your understanding of the DDU policy before dispatch.

We strongly recommend providing a secure delivery address, such as your billing or work address, where someone is available to sign for the package upon delivery.

If your destination country is not listed, please reach out to our team - we will gladly explore options to fulfil your order wherever possible.

Shipping Charges

Shipping costs are calculated individually per order and will be communicated and confirmed with you prior to processing.

Shipping Insurance

All Cape Cobra shipments are fully insured during transit against loss, theft, or accidental damage. This coverage is valid until the parcel has been signed for at the delivery address.

Once signed for, the order is no longer covered by our shipping insurance.

Signature Required on Delivery

All deliveries require a signature upon receipt. Please ensure that your shipping address is one where someone is available to sign on your behalf. If a third party will be signing, please indicate their name when placing your order to avoid delivery issues.

Delivery Timeframes

We aim to ship in-stock items within:

  • 3–4 working days** for deliveries within South Africa
  • 3–4 weeks for international destinations.

Orders will only be dispatched once payment has been confirmed and shipping and billing addresses have been verified.

For items that are out of stock, customized, or made to order, the production lead time is approximately 6–10 weeks, depending on the product and custom requirements.

Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates only and commence from the date of dispatch, not the date of order.
